😊 Every Smile Has a Story... Here's Mine

My name is Risa, and in Spanish, it means smile or laughter. When I first started my real estate career, I decided to embrace that meaning and began calling myself The SMILING Agent. What started as a simple idea soon became something much more. It became a reminder of how I wanted every client to feel: welcomed, encouraged, and confident throughout one of life's biggest milestones.

My real estate journey began in 2021 while I was still working in corporate America. As my passion for helping people continued to grow, I took a leap of faith and made real estate my full-time career. Along the way, I intentionally sought opportunities to learn from experienced professionals, expand my knowledge, and strengthen my skills so I could better serve every client who places their trust in me.

One thing I've learned is that the best communication isn't about saying every word perfectly. It's about listening with your whole heart, understanding what matters most, and making sure every client feels heard. That's the kind of experience I strive to provide every single day.

Having lived in both San Antonio and Abilene, I understand that every move has a story. Whether you're buying your very first home, searching for your forever home, selling a home filled with memories, relocating, or investing for the future, I'm committed to guiding you with honesty, patience, and genuine care. The best part of my life happens when I'm simply being "Nana." Spending time with my husband, our three sons, our wonderful daughter-in-law, and our two precious grandsons fills my heart in ways I never imagined. They remind me that the happiest moments in life aren't measured by the size of a house, but by the love, laughter, and memories created inside it. That's why helping families find a place to call home means so much to me.

To me, real estate has never been just about contracts, negotiations, or closing dates. It's about people. It's about building relationships, earning trust, and being someone my clients can count on long after the keys have changed hands.

Maybe it's no coincidence that my name means "smile." I believe every home journey should end with one.
